This past Friday we took Max to our local "pumpkin patch" and apple orchard to pick out some pumpkins and get some honeycrisp apples. They are the crispiest crunchiest apples I've ever had. Very yummy. Max got to run around and feed goats, ride in a red wagon, help mommy and daddy pick out pumpkins, and even had his first pony ride. He made it one time around and then decided that was enough. We were delighted at the discovery of this neat little country place just a hop and skip away. We still have alot to learn about our city. Camping trip to Lake Shelbyville
Stick bug
spider
This past weekend Stephen and I got to get away for some husband and wife time. Thanks so much to Grama Peters for driving all the way from Nebraska to watch our precious Max and to get some time with the "big boys" Ed & Will too. We headed south and west to beautiful Lake Shelbyville, about an hour and a half from here. We relaxed in the great outdoors with perfect weather. We just enjoyed being able to do "nothing" with our biggest decision being whether to grill bbque chicken tonight or the hamburgers. Enjoy the pics!
